Conclusion of Iraq's Powerlifting Championship in Hilla

The Iraq Powerlifting Championship, held in the city of Hilla, concluded after three days of events at the Martyr Hamza Nouri Hall, featuring participation from 155 athletes representing 12 teams, marked by intense and exciting competitions. The President of the Central Federation of the sport, Salah Fattah, stated that "the Kirkuk team secured the first place in the junior category with 49 points, followed by the Wasit team with 39 points, while the Babylon team took third place with 37 points." He added that "the Wasit team achieved first place in the youth category with 54 points, while the Sulaymaniyah team took second place with 45 points, and the third place went to the Najaf Ashraf team with 40 points. Additionally, the Babylon team won first place in the senior category with 49 points, the Najaf team came in second with 46 points, and the Diyala team finished third with 38 points."
