Al Arabiya reported that "Egyptian security agencies found the body of the missing Saudi citizen Hattan Shatta today, Monday." Sources from Al Arabiya.net stated that "the authorities discovered the body in one of the streets, and upon examination, it was determined that the cause of death was natural, with no suspicion of foul play."
The missing Saudi citizen had disappeared on April 22 from New Cairo. Before his disappearance, he had been looking for a new apartment in the 6th of October area to move to. The security agencies of the Ministry of Interior intensified their efforts to uncover the circumstances surrounding the young man's disappearance.
Earlier, the Saudi Embassy in Cairo confirmed the circulating news about the disappearance of citizen Hattan Shatta during his stay in Cairo a few days prior, indicating that from the first day it began its procedures and communication with official and security authorities in Egypt, which immediately initiated investigations into the circumstances of the citizen's disappearance, utilizing available surveillance cameras.
