Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf described his country's attack on Israel as a "strong and painful slap." He added that "this military action aligns with the United Nations Charter, and if Israel takes any action, the Iranian response will be even more severe." He emphasized that "any threat from Israel and its supporters from any country will be met with an appropriate and strong response at its source."
For his part, Iranian Chief of Staff General Mohammad Baqeri noted that "our attack has ended, and we do not wish to continue it, but we will respond forcefully if Israel targets our interests." He stated, "We have sent a warning message to Washington via the Swiss Embassy if it supports any Israeli response." He reported that "the attack led to the destruction of two important Israeli military sites," stressing that "Israel crossed red lines by targeting the Iranian consulate in Syria, and a response was necessary. If Washington participates in any attack against us, its bases in the region will not be safe."
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian indicated that "the necessary warning has been directed to the United States."
