Tomorrow, Thursday, the matches of the 23rd edition of the annual UAE International Polo Championship will resume, organized by the Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club, under the patronage of Sheikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Club, and supported by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, at the Ghantoot Club fields.
The round will begin with a match between the Abu Dhabi Polo team, currently leading on goal difference after their last victory against Lamar Polo, and the AM Polo team, which is looking to recover from its opening loss to the Bin Dree Polo team.
The second match will bring together the Ghantoot Polo team, which won in the first round against Behensali Polo, and the Lamar Polo team, which lost in the opener against Abu Dhabi Polo. The matches will be officiated by an international Argentine team consisting of Peter Matias and Jason Dixon.
Leading the tournament's scoring table, which saw 42 goals scored in the first week, is Bin Dree Polo's striker Khalid bin Dree with a total of 7 goals.
