Israel:

Israel has accused the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) of planning to attack the Israeli embassy in Sweden, stating that this is part of the group's expansion of operations in Europe. Authorities reported the arrest of several suspects last month. In a statement following the arrests announced by Danish, German, and Swedish authorities, the Israeli intelligence agency (Mossad) mentioned the name of a person allegedly affiliated with Hamas in Sweden, without specifying whether he was also detained. The Mossad's statement noted that a multinational investigation received information indicating that a Hamas network received orders from a leadership base affiliated with the movement in Lebanon and that it "intends to attack the Israeli embassy in Sweden and purchase gliders and activate members of criminal groups in Europe."
