The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division announced today, Friday, that "as part of the daily monitoring carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat car theft operations in various Lebanese regions, on 10-5-2024, and as a result of extensive investigations and inquiries, elements of the Office for Combating International Theft Crimes in the Judicial Police Unit were able to arrest the following Syrian nationals: A. D. (born in 1991), M. L. (born in 1992), and R. A. (born in 2001), who were found to be active in the field of prostitution. During the investigation, both (A. D.) and (M. L.) confessed to stealing more than 26 cars in collaboration with two others who had been previously arrested. Legal action was taken against them, and they were referred to the competent judiciary based on its indication."
