The soldier in the video posted on Telegram said, "We will listen only to the Prime Minister," while a spokesperson for the Israeli army and the Ministry of Defense announced an investigation into the incident.
The soldier declared in the video: "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, this video is for you, we reserve soldiers do not intend to hand over the keys to any Palestinian authority." Netanyahu's son, Yair Netanyahu, shared the video on his personal account.
For his part, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid commented on the incident, stating: "The inciting videos of sedition circulating online are dangerous and catastrophic." He accused the Israeli government of inciting rebellion, saying, "This madness must stop. This government needs to be removed from our lives before it destroys everything dear and sacred in Israel."
