Information was received by the Central Anti-Drug Office of the Judicial Police Unit about a network preparing to smuggle drugs inside a "Chaudière" water heater outside Lebanese territory via the Masnaa crossing in the Bekaa region. The operation successfully thwarted a large-scale drug smuggling of Captagon through the water heater by the Central Anti-Drug Office.
As a result of extensive investigations and inquiries, the office's personnel identified one of the network members, lured him, and arrested him in a precise ambush while seizing the heater. His name is A. M. (born in 2000, Iraqi). A search of the water heater revealed approximately 600,000 Captagon pills hidden in a professional manner inside it.
During the investigation, another individual was arrested for transferring money to the network, named S. A. (born in 1998, Syrian). Legal measures were taken against the detained individuals upon the directive of the relevant judiciary, and search notices were issued for the other involved parties.
