Israeli media reported this evening, Friday, that 3 rockets were fired at "Kiryat Shmona" by "Hezbollah" from southern Lebanon, resulting in the collapse of a building after it was targeted. The Kiryat Shmona municipality has requested that residents remain in shelters until further notice. The "Islamic Resistance" announced in a statement that "in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with their valiant and honorable resistance, and in response to the Israeli enemy's assaults on the resilient southern villages and safe homes, culminating in the attack on Tyre Harfa, our fighters shelled the Kiryat Shmona settlement with a volley of Katyusha rockets." Additionally, Israeli army radio reported that 35 projectiles were launched from Lebanon towards Kiryat Shmona, with 15 of them intercepted.
