On Sunday, the Israeli Public Prosecution filed an indictment against the sister of the head of the Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, following her sending of "words of praise for him after October 7." The Hebrew website "Wynet" reported that the prosecution submitted the indictment to the Beersheba Magistrate's Court against Sabah Abdul Salam Haniyeh, 57 years old, the sister of Ismail Haniyeh, a resident of Tel Sheva, on charges of supporting a terrorist organization and incitement.
According to the website, the indictment shows that on October 9, Sabah Haniyeh sent dozens of messages via WhatsApp, including to her brother, containing words of praise, sympathy, and encouragement for Hamas's actions. The Hebrew site indicated that "the day after, and after several days, Sabah Haniyeh sent another message through WhatsApp groups to which she belonged, calling for prayers for the 'destruction of the enemy... May God leave none of them, slaughter them and kill them... and keep us away from their evil.'"
