Blinken to Zelensky: A Strong Ukraine is the Best Possible Rebuke to Putin

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Kyiv on an unannounced visit, where he will meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky. Blinken viewed "a strong, successful, prosperous, and free Ukraine as the best possible rebuke to Russian President Vladimir Putin." The Associated Press reported that "Blinken arrived in Kyiv on Tuesday for an unannounced diplomatic mission and will affirm the Biden administration's long-term commitment to defending Ukraine." The agency noted that Blinken "will send a strong signal of confidence" to Ukrainian officials and activists he will meet during his two-day visit.
