Families of Blast Victims: Complete Investigations and Hold Officials Accountable

The "Families of Victims and Martyrs of the Beirut Port Explosion" association held a demonstration today titled "The victims want nothing but justice, and justice is your duty," in front of the Palace of Justice in Beirut. The event saw participation from the Beirut Fire Brigade and a crowd of victims' families and those affected by the Beirut port explosion, who raised banners demanding that the investigation not be obstructed and that the indictment be issued without any delay or evasion from some officials to uncover the truth. The families displayed pictures of their martyrs. They emphasized that this demonstration is a confirmation of their demand for the investigations to be completed, the indictment to be issued, and for those responsible for the Beirut port explosion, the worst disaster to strike Lebanon, to be held accountable, regardless of their status.
