Raghad Saddam Hussein, the daughter of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, posted a video of her father's words in the courtroom during his sentencing. This post was made on the anniversary of his execution on December 30, 2006. Raghad shared the video on her account on "X" on Saturday evening, consisting solely of the video with no accompanying comment. In it, the late president is seen interrupting the judge during the sentencing, repeating several phrases while gesturing with his hand and holding a copy of the Quran in his left hand. He said, "Long live the nation and down with the traitors... down with the invaders... we are its people... we are its people... the criminal invaders... the great people of Iraq... long live the people and death to its enemies."
