The company also announced the opening of the first fully integrated center dedicated to the HONGQI brand in the Jal el Dib area of Beirut, which includes a modern showroom, advanced maintenance, and spare parts centers. Rimco showcased the prominent HONGQI models in the Lebanese market, including the HS5 and OUSADO with internal combustion engines, benefiting from a 7-year warranty, free maintenance, and roadside assistance, alongside the fully electric E-HS9 and E-QM5 models, which come with a 5-year warranty, free maintenance, an 8-year warranty on the battery, and 7 years of roadside assistance.
In his speech during the event, Faiz Rasamny highlighted the importance of the strategic partnership with the prestigious HONGQI company, known for its luxury vehicles, high capabilities, and advanced technologies. He noted that choosing Rimco as the official dealer for HONGQI in Lebanon was based on the company’s long history in the automotive market, its reputation, successful track record, and ability to invest and represent the brand in the best possible way. Rasamny emphasized his strong belief in the future of the Lebanese market, despite the significant challenges it has faced for years, which have led to a substantial decline in market size and changes in its structure, along with the widespread entry of Chinese brands capturing a significant market share.
He considered HONGQI the ideal choice for a select group of clients seeking luxurious, calm, and safe driving, thanks to its innovative designs, high capabilities, and advanced technologies. He also mentioned that the partnership between Rimco and HONGQI extends beyond Lebanon to four African markets.
It is noteworthy that the HONGQI brand began producing its cars in 1958, developing its designs and technologies over the years to become the leading luxury car in the Chinese market, ideal for political leaders, senior officials, and Chinese businessmen. It is also recognized as the primary presidential vehicle in China. The brand's concept emphasizes originality and elegance, creating a blend of distinctive Eastern culture with advanced global culture and technology to provide a unique and elegant driving experience.
