Emir of Qatar and Greek President Discuss Developments in Gaza

The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, held a meeting with the President of Greece, Ekaterini Sakellaropoulou, at the presidential palace in Athens on Wednesday. At the beginning of the meeting, the Greek president highlighted the significant developments in the relations between the two countries, expressing her hope that this important visit by the Emir of Qatar would elevate bilateral cooperation to the level desired by both friendly nations. For his part, the Emir of Qatar affirmed his commitment to continuing to enhance the distinguished friendship that has united the two countries for over 50 years, expanding the horizons of fruitful cooperation for the benefit of their friendly peoples. During the meeting, they reviewed the existing friendship and cooperation between the two countries and discussed ways to enhance and develop it on all levels, particularly in the fields of economy and investment, as well as the developments in Gaza and the Palestinian territories.
