The Directorate of Meteorology in the General Civil Aviation Authority has predicted that the weather tomorrow will be partly cloudy with fog formation in the high areas, with little change in temperatures. Light, scattered rain is expected in the morning, along with some snow at elevations of 2000 meters. The weather will stabilize from noon, turning into few clouds. The forecast states the following:
- General situation: Variable and relatively cold weather will dominate Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, with temperatures below seasonal averages until Thursday afternoon, when it will gradually stabilize and temperatures will rise during the weekend.
- Average temperature for March: 13 to 21.7 degrees.
- Weather expected in Lebanon:
- Wednesday: Partly cloudy with a slight decrease in temperatures and fog in the heights, turning cloudy in the afternoon with light local rain, especially in the northern and interior regions, along with some light snow at 1900 meters.
- Thursday: Partly cloudy with fog formation in the high areas and little change in temperatures; light scattered rain is expected in the morning, with some snow at 2000 meters, and the weather will stabilize from noon, turning into few clouds.
- Friday: Sunny with a rise in temperatures in the mountainous and inland areas, returning to seasonal averages.
- Saturday: Few clouds with a noticeable rise in temperatures exceeding seasonal averages.
- Temperatures: On the coast from 13 to 19 degrees, in the mountains from 7 to 15 degrees, inland from 7 to 16 degrees.
- Surface winds: Northwest during the day, southeast at night, with speeds ranging from 8 to 30 km/h.
- Visibility: Good, worsening in the evening on the heights due to fog.
- Relative humidity on the coast: Between 55% and 80%.
- Sea conditions: Low to medium wave height, surface water temperature: 18 degrees.
