Israeli Doctor Reveals Dangerous Information About the Life of Sinwar

An Israeli dentist, Yuval Beaton, said in an interview with the New York Times that he recalled prisoner number 7333335 in Israeli prisons as soon as his daughter told him that Hamas militants attacked Israel on October 7. The Israeli doctor revealed new and dangerous information about the life of Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, when he was a prisoner in Israel, noting that he contributed to saving Sinwar's life after he suffered from a brain disease that nearly ended it.

The Israeli doctor explained that he was 37 years old and was managing a dental clinic in the Be'er Sheva prison complex in the Negev Desert, southern Israel, when he saved Sinwar's life. He added, “When I came out of an interview with some patients in early 2004, I found many of my colleagues visibly confused, surrounding Sinwar, who was complaining of pain in his neck.”

Beaton explained that he informed his colleagues that Sinwar was suffering from a problem in his brain and needed to be transferred to the hospital urgently. Indeed, he was transferred to the nearby Soroka Medical Center, where he underwent emergency surgery to remove a brain tumor.

He added, “A few days later, I visited Sinwar in the hospital, accompanied by a prison officer assigned to interrogate him. Sinwar asked the Muslim officer to thank me and to explain to me what it means in Islam that I saved his life.”

The Israeli doctor noted that Sinwar thanked him for the medical service he provided and told him that he was grateful to him with his life. The New York Times revealed that the Israeli doctor documented his relationship with Sinwar, as he spent hundreds of hours as a dentist, and later as a senior intelligence officer in the Israeli prison service, which allowed him to talk to him and analyze his personality.

It is worth mentioning that in 1988, Israel arrested Sinwar, and he was later convicted of killing Israeli soldiers and sentenced to four life sentences.
