After the circulation of a video showing a fight in front of a school in the Zahra Maadi area of Cairo Governorate, security forces apprehended the parties involved in a clash between two students outside a private school. This incident escalated when the parent of one of the students fired a round from a "blank firing gun," causing panic among the students. The Al-Basateen Police Department received a report about the altercation between the two students, in which a parent armed with a firearm intervened.
Immediately, security personnel were dispatched to the scene of the report, and both students, along with the father (an engineer), and the firearm (blank), were detained. It was revealed that the fight erupted over a dispute involving a mobile phone, which led to physical confrontations between the students. A report was filed, and the case is under investigation by the public prosecution.
