The Southern Water Authority of Lebanon mourned the loss of Salah Ahmed Mahdi, who was killed while performing his duty to ensure the continuity of water supply in the town of Naqoura, after being targeted on his motorcycle by a missile fired from an Israeli drone. The authority affirmed its commitment to "fulfilling its duties towards our steadfast people in all frontline villages," calling on "the relevant official institutions and international bodies to denounce the crime and pressure the enemy to immediately halt its assaults on employees and workers in vital and humanitarian sectors."
