Who Won the Engineers' Syndicate Elections?

The Engineers' Syndicate elections took place today, Saturday, at the syndicate's headquarters in Bir Hassan. The results showed that Hassan Mohammed Dmej (Future Movement), Jihad Jan Shaheen (Free Patriotic Movement), and Roy Michel Daghir (Designers - Civil Society) won membership in the syndicate. Meanwhile, Salman Sobhi (Amal Movement) was elected head of the sixth branch, and Bassam Ali Hassan (Party Alliance) was elected head of the second branch. Engineer Hassan Dmej received 2,505 votes in the general assembly elections, while Engineer Bassam Ali Hassan received 2,174 votes for the presidency of the second branch.

The Beirut Engineers' Syndicate began its electoral battle today, with party candidates and independents competing for five seats: two for the presidency of the architects' branch, one for the presidency of the sixth branch, and three for the general assembly. The polling stations opened at 9 AM and closed at 6 PM, with participation from general assembly members. The election for the heads of the two branches requires selecting one name from five previously qualified candidates.
