Member of the Central Council in "Hezbollah," Sheikh Nabih Qawouk, affirmed that "the American administration is a full partner in the aggression against Gaza, responsible for the war in terms of decision, support, cover, blood, and also responsible for prolonging it." He emphasized that "the resistance in Yemen has expanded its targeting of ships, reaching beyond the Red Sea to the Indian Ocean. Unfortunately, there are some Arabs who have replaced the maritime bridge to Eilat with a land bridge from the Gulf to Haifa, and there are those who assist the Zionist entity at the peak of the war, with Israelis repeatedly stating that no Arab state that has normalized relations has suspended or cut ties with Israel."
He continued, "The resistance in Lebanon was the first to support and stand with Gaza, imposing new equations along the borders and exposing the Israeli inability to protect its positions and settlements." He pointed out that "the enemy is unable to protect the settlers, which is why it resorted to the weapon of destroying homes in hopes of breaking the support decision; however, our position will not change and will remain strong, firm, and steadfast in support."
He asserted that "the supportive fronts from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq to Yemen are ongoing, confirming the failure of the American and Israeli project and the miscalculations." Sheikh Qawouk noted that "a defeated Israel is weaker than to impose its conditions or to execute its threats against Lebanon, and when the enemy begins to expand its assaults on civilians and deep areas, the resistance responds vigorously and swiftly." He concluded, "Hezbollah’s stance in support enjoys unprecedented broad popular Lebanese, Arab, and international backing since 2006."
