Jamal Al-Dura, the father of the Palestinian martyr Muhammad Al-Dura, has appealed to the Egyptian authorities to facilitate his entry into Egyptian territory due to the "extremely harsh conditions he is suffering from." Lawyer Tarek Al-Awady, a member of the Presidential Pardons Committee, stated: "Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi: I received a voice message from the father of martyr Muhammad Al-Dura, in which he appeals to Your Excellency to kindly allow him to cross into Egyptian territory due to the severe and difficult circumstances he is enduring." Al-Awady added that Al-Dura expressed his appreciation for the significant role Egypt plays in providing all forms of humanitarian support to the Palestinian people. Jamal Al-Dura had recently said goodbye to two of his brothers, after 23 years since the loss of his son, in a state of resilience mixed with sorrow.
