Qawuq: The Fate of Lebanon and the Region Depends on the Results of the War in Gaza

Member of the Central Council of "Hezbollah," Sheikh Nabil Qawuq, emphasized that "our national, legitimate, and humanitarian responsibility requires us as a resistance to continue the battle against the Israeli enemy to exhaust, weaken, and defeat it, because today’s battle is one battle, and the fate of Lebanon and the region depends on the results of the war in Gaza." He lamented the positions of some Arabs, who are unmoved by the massacres and extermination of the Palestinian people but fear a victory in Gaza.

He asserted that "all aircraft carriers, fleets, and destroyers have not and will not affect the resistance's decision in operations against the Israeli enemy, and we promise our people in Palestine that the resistance operations in the south will continue and increase in both quantity and quality, and we will not change in this regard." He reiterated that "the equation of the resistance in protecting civilians is firm and stable, and the resistance does not hesitate or delay in responding to any Israeli aggression targeting civilians in Lebanon."

He pointed out that "Gaza is being slaughtered every day by an American decision, with a green light from the West and collusion from normalization Arabs," noting that "the stance of Chile, Bolivia, and Colombia on the events in Gaza is a commendable position, far more honorable than the shameful Arab normalization that does not honor us and from which we distance ourselves."

Sheikh Qawuq concluded by stating that "America proves every day that it is the greatest evil and that it is primarily responsible for the massacres in Gaza. Naturally, it must bear the consequences of its hostile stance toward the Palestinian people and pay the price for its intervention in favor of the Israeli enemy, and this is beginning to manifest in Iraq and Syria, and it could be the case throughout the region."
