The spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, Abu Obeida, stated that "after 200 days of the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, the criminal enemy is still trying to restore its image but only gaining more shame and disgrace." He noted that "the enemy is still stuck in the sands of Gaza," emphasizing that "for 200 days, our resistance in Gaza is as steadfast as the mountains of Palestine, and we have documented only a small portion of our heroes' strikes against the enemy." Abu Obeida stressed that "we will continue our strikes and resistance as long as the occupation's aggression or presence continues on any inch of our land." He added that "the enemy has been unable, over the past 200 days, to achieve anything but mass massacres, destruction, and killing."
