Arrests of Syrian Violators and Closure of 6 Shops with Red Wax

Patrols from the Tripoli Regional Center in the General Directorate of General Security, in coordination with the National Security Division, sealed several commercial shops run by Syrians in violation of residency and work regulations in the areas of Qoubbeh, Mina, Tal, Abi Samra, and Monla in Tripoli with red wax, following the directives of the competent judiciary. Efforts are ongoing to close all shops that violate regulations and laws.

Additionally, the General Directorate of General Security continued its campaign to pursue and suppress violations of residency and work by Syrian refugees in various Lebanese regions. In this context, a force from the "Saida Regional Center" coordinated with the "Southern Division of the National Security Directorate" conducted a raid on two businesses in the city of Saida managed by Syrians illegally. These businesses were closed and sealed with red wax based on the directives of the competent judiciary, and five Syrians were arrested for violating residency and work conditions, while ten others had their documents revoked for failing to meet legal requirements.

Furthermore, the National Security Division in the south - Tibnine Office also sealed three shops with red wax: a store in the town of Shaqra owned by a Syrian, a pastry shop in the town of Kfara run by a Syrian, and a laundry managed illegally. This was done based on the decision of the acting General Director of General Security, Elias Beysri, and at the request of Judge Ramzi Farhat, in cooperation with the Tibnine Regional Center.
