"Time is Running Out": Gantz on Eliminating the Threat of Hezbollah

Israeli media reported today that former Israeli war council member Benny Gantz informed U.S. envoy Amos Hochstein that time is running out to reach a settlement agreement regarding the border with Lebanon. Gantz stated, "I will support any responsible and effective political or military decision on this matter outside the government," adding, "We are committed to eliminating the threat posed by Hezbollah to the citizens of northern Israel, regardless of the developments in the war in Gaza."
