A delegation from the National Moderation Bloc visited the Egyptian embassy, and after the meeting, the Egyptian ambassador to Lebanon, Alaa Moussa, stated: "The meeting today with the 'National Moderation' Bloc addressed the latest developments in the presidential file, and we need to avoid discussing who leads the dialogue and focus on the goal of the dialogue." The Egyptian ambassador mentioned in a press interview: "We met today with the Moderation Bloc, and the meeting was important because we assessed the previous stage." He pointed out that "the timeframe is very crucial in our Arab world to apply pressure, and this pressure can be utilized positively to achieve several matters." He affirmed that "the quintet must work with enthusiasm to make some progress in the presidential file," indicating that "we agreed with the Moderation Bloc to continue their movement in the upcoming period, benefiting from the quintet's recent statement and the positive responses we received from the political forces."
