Nawaf Al-Mousawi, the official in charge of resources and borders in Hezbollah, confirmed that Israel does not have the logistical capability to bombard Lebanon, nor does it have the capability to strike Gaza if not for the daily bridge supplying Israeli forces with weapons and ammunition. In an interview with "Al-Mayadeen," he stated that "Hezbollah has direct lines of communication with major international powers, some of which have asked party officials to persuade Hamas to accept the proposed deal."
He emphasized that "Hezbollah's response was that the Palestinian people and the Palestinian resistance are the only entities capable of making such decisions." Al-Mousawi viewed that "what is happening today in Gaza cannot be compared to any place in the world." He pointed out that "the Islamic resistance in Lebanon will not accept, under any circumstances, to abandon their Palestinian brothers in Gaza, and it will not be limited to providing them with weapons but will also involve going to fight alongside them."
Regarding Hezbollah's combat capabilities, Al-Mousawi indicated that "what the party used to store in six months, it now stores in a month," affirming that "the party is opening new warehouses and has new missiles that are more accurate and qualitative by land, sea, and air." He noted that "all major entities, including the United States, have requested Hezbollah to engage in direct dialogue, but the party rejected their demands."
Concerning the demarcation file, Al-Mousawi confirmed that "the Lebanese state has taken it on," emphasizing that "Hezbollah does not interfere in determining points and borders," and that Lebanon has gas in its waters, with its economic zone being rich.
