"Moov," the global fintech company focused on mobility, which facilitates vehicle ownership opportunities for entrepreneurs in the mobility sector, announced it has raised $100 million in a Series B funding round. This round was participated in by Mubadala Investment Company, the sovereign investment firm from Abu Dhabi, which had led Moov's previous funding round in 2023, along with Uber, which also joined this new funding round. This funding enables Moov to expand its business in the global mobility sector, increase the supply of vehicles, thereby enhancing rapid growth in various geographic areas worldwide, and accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles across multiple markets. The company plans to use the new investments to expand its operations to 16 markets by the end of 2025, while also expanding its fleet of vehicles and laying the foundation for a more sustainable ecosystem in the mobility sector, allowing its customers to benefit from it worldwide.
