Jordan Wins First Place in Euro-Mediterranean Stamp Contest

The Euro-Mediterranean Postal Union announced that Jordan won first place (Jerash Stamp) in the "2023" stamp contest organized by the Union. According to a statement from the postal company on Thursday, the voting process began on September 7 and continued until November 28, where the Jordanian postage stamp received a high volume of votes under the theme "Euro-Mediterranean Festivals." It secured the first position among 23 participating countries from member states of the Union. The statement highlighted that Jordan's participation reflects the importance of its presence in postal union activities and emphasizes the interest in festivals in the Euro-Mediterranean region, aiming to spotlight Jordanian culture through these seasonal festivals that celebrate local, Arab, and human creativity.
