Saudi news agency reported in the early hours of Saturday (local time) that authorities will prohibit travel to and from the UAE, Ethiopia, Vietnam, and Afghanistan due to concerns regarding the coronavirus. The agency clarified that the ban will take effect from July 4 and will apply to anyone who has been in these four countries within the last 14 days. It also mentioned that Saudi citizens returning to the country before Sunday will be exempt from the new measures.
