Hezbollah has opened the Baalbek Jihadi Museum (Tale of the Sun to the Earth), under the patronage of the party's political council president, Ibrahim Amin al-Sayed. The Baalbek Jihadi Museum (Tale of the Sun to the Earth) serves as a gateway for all fronts and an open book of resistance detailing the geography of the universe and the ages.
The party provides a summary of the site: "The area covers 10,452 square meters, reflecting the size of Lebanon. All the military vehicles and armored equipment displayed, numbering around 50, are trophies acquired by the Islamic Resistance since 1982, the year of the Israeli invasion of Lebanon, through to the first liberation of the south from the Israeli enemy in 2000, the divine victory in July 2006, and finally the second liberation from the Takfiri enemy in the eastern mountain range and the Bekaa hills in 2017."
During the opening, Ibrahim Amin al-Sayed stated, "We carry out programs of this kind in terms of landmarks, exhibitions, museums, and others so that victories and achievements do not fade away." He added, "What you will see in the museum of military vehicles is evidence of the resistance's capability and efficiency, as well as the enemy's defeat and weakness." He remarked that "the world is changing around us, and wait for a revolution of independence from tyrants in Africa; this will change the face of the world, God willing." He also stated, "America has never been on the side of Arabs; it is always with itself and its interests."
During the opening event, a member of the Islamic Resistance explained the goals of the tourist and jihadi museum in Baalbek, detailing the items and artifacts it contains. Notably, the exhibition showcased the advanced munitions, including the "SAM-6" system.
