Iraqi Health Minister Saleh Mahdi Al-Hassnawi directed today, Friday, to meet all financial and medical needs of the Karbala Health Directorate, in terms of medicines and medical supplies, to provide the necessary support for delivering the best services to the esteemed visitors during this pilgrimage and throughout the year. The official spokesperson for the Karbala Health Directorate, Adi Al-Salami, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Health Directorate of Karbala was honored by Al-Hassnawi's visit, where he met with the senior staff in the health directorate to review the latest developments in the health situation in Karbala and the preparations for this year's Ashura health plan." He added: "Al-Hassnawi reviewed all the details of the plan, provided his feedback, praised the plan, then proceeded to Imam Hussein Hospital (AS), visited the emergency department, the intensive care unit, and some other areas, speaking with citizens and staff and reviewing all the existing comments."
