According to "Nidaa al-Watan," Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi and Army Commander General Joseph Aoun will visit the Ras Baalbek area this Tuesday morning to inaugurate a series of road projects connecting the regions. The key project is the road leading to the Mar Maroun al-Aasi cave, which will significantly improve transportation in the town. This road, connecting Ras Baalbek, Qaa, Qamoua, Hermel, and the Mar Maroun al-Aasi monastery, has been a demand from the Maronite community due to the cave's importance as a starting point for Saint Maroun's students in their missionary work in the north and Mount Lebanon. The Patriarch and the Army Commander will have stops in the area, with public receptions planned, especially in Qaa, Ras Baalbek, and other points along the inauguration route.
