On Wednesday, the air force struck terrorist hideouts in the provinces of Diyala and Kirkuk. The Security Media Cell in Iraq stated in a statement: "Under the supervision and planning of the Joint Operations Command, and based on accurate information from intelligence agencies in coordination with the targeting cell of the Joint Operations Command, the air force targeted terrorist hideouts using Cessna Caravan aircraft," noting that "four targets in Diyala province and six in Kirkuk were destroyed." It confirmed that "these strikes are part of the ongoing offensive operations to prevent the enemy from using their previous hideouts and to cut off their logistical supply routes."
