Israeli Minister: Make the West Bank Like Gaza!

After repeatedly calling for the Israeli army to invade Gaza and to enter southern Lebanon to establish a safe zone away from "Hezbollah" near northern Israel, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has struck again. The far-right minister urged Israeli forces to carry out actions in the West Bank similar to those in the Gaza Strip. In a tweet on his account on the platform "X" today, following gunfire directed at the settlement of "Bat Hefer" near the city of Tulkarm in the West Bank, he stated, "We must combat terrorists in the West Bank as we do in Gaza." He noted, "We must not allow them to do what they did on October 7 near the Gaza border." He added, "Terrorism must be uprooted from anywhere, even if that means turning Tulkarm into what Gaza looks like," referring to the ongoing war in the region. He concluded by stating that this "phenomenon is further proof that the future Palestinian state will pose an existential threat to Israel."
