The head of the "Ba'lbek-Hermel Bloc," Deputy Hussein Haj Hassan, confirmed that "the operations that began on October 8th are ongoing in support of Gaza and its steadfast, struggling, and sacrificing people, and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance." During the funeral of "the martyr on the road to Jerusalem," Ahmed Hassan Al-Dairani, in the town of QasrNab, he stated: "These operations have inflicted casualties on the occupying enemy and have instilled fear and anxiety in them. The evidence of this is the excessive wailing and cries from the Zionists, their threats, and the countless rants from their supporters. The answer lies in the field where the resistance fought and defeated the enemy in 2000 and 2006. The response to every threat has always been steadfastness, belief, and martyrdom. The resistance's reply has always been in support of justice and defense of rights, the right to land and dignified living in support of the oppressed and wronged."
He added: "The enemy today is astonished, picking up its dead and wounded, and fears announcing its losses, because it is a defeated and confused enemy in front of the resistance, which has set high objectives in this confrontation. After 83 days and more, it has discovered that it cannot achieve the accomplishments it promised its audience. It is confused at the level of its military, security, and political leadership, as well as in the relationship between the settlers and the Israeli army and between the army and the military and political leaderships."
