King Abdullah II of Jordan congratulated the national football team after their historic qualification for the Asian Cup final following their victory over South Korea with a score of two goals to none on Tuesday. The Jordanian king wrote on his official page on the "X" platform: "You did it Nashama, you raised our heads! Congratulations to you and to all Jordanians for reaching the Asian final... The Jordanian flag is always raised by the efforts and determination of its sons. Long live the Nashama."
Jordanian fans celebrated this historic victory, the first against South Korea, one of the leading teams favored to win the title.
