Clashes Between Israeli Security and Haredim in Tel Aviv (Video)

The Israeli army announced that it will begin distributing thousands of conscription orders for Haredim starting next Sunday. Concurrently, dozens of Haredim closed a street east of Tel Aviv today, Tuesday, in protest against the plan to summon them for military service, leading to clashes between security forces and demonstrators. Earlier today, two senior Israeli army officers were assaulted by young Haredim in Bnei Brak after a meeting with Rabbi David Leibel, who has been working recently to establish a division for religious Jews in the Israeli army.
