The Secretary-General of "Hezbollah," Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, announced during the "Martyrs' Leaders" celebration (Sheikh Ragheb Harb, Sayyed Abbas al-Moussawi, and Imad Mughniyeh) that "the recent massacres committed by the Zionists against civilians in the south were deliberate," stating, "We are in the midst of a real battle." He added, "Our women and children in Nabatiyeh, and Suwaneh, among others, will make the enemy pay with blood for the shedding of their blood."
He affirmed that "the enemy who thinks that by killing our leaders and fighters or hiding them, as was the case with Imam Sayyed Musa Sadr and his companions, it can cause us to retreat, weaken us, or abandon our responsibilities is mistaken; this will never happen."
Sayyed Nasrallah emphasized that "the weapon of resistance is not to change the political system, constitution, or the governance system and impose new sectarian quotas in Lebanon," confirming that "the weapon of resistance is to protect Lebanon." He explained that the borders are drawn and any negotiations will be based on "getting out of our Lebanese land," adding that "the culture of our resistance is a culture of life and dignity, not a culture of humiliation, degradation, and submission."
