Chinese President Xi Jinping revealed that he aims to work with the international community to find ways to resolve the current crisis in Ukraine. This statement was made in an op-ed published in a newspaper as he began a state visit to France on Sunday. Xi wrote in the French daily "Le Figaro," "We hope that peace and stability will quickly return to Europe, and we intend to work with France and the entire international community to find good ways to solve the crisis," emphasizing that China is "neither a party nor a participant" in the crisis.
Upon his arrival in France, the Chinese president clarified that the relationship between Beijing and Paris serves as a model for peaceful coexistence and cooperation among countries with differing political systems. According to the Xinhuanet news agency, Xi stated that the development of relations between the two countries contributes to achieving "stability and positive energy in a troubled world."
