Dozens of Passengers Fall Ill on Condor Flight

A major medical operation took place at Frankfurt Airport in Germany after dozens of passengers fell ill on a Condor flight arriving from Mauritius. Emergency services at the airport were alerted after the crew of flight DE 2315 notified the Frankfurt control center that passengers were complaining of feeling unwell. After the plane landed, paramedics assisted dozens of passengers who had vomited or experienced nausea during the flight. German news agency sources reported that 15 emergency vehicles were sent to the location of the aircraft. A spokesperson for Condor did not provide details regarding the number of affected passengers. However, media reports indicated that around 70 passengers became ill. The spokesperson stated that "the crew was not affected and decided to continue the flight," adding that the crew "was trained to deal with such special situations." Condor mentioned that there were 290 passengers on board the Airbus A330 Neo, which has 310 seats. The company stated that an investigation has been initiated but declined to comment on the possible causes of the incident.
