The Minister of Public Works and Transport in the caretaker government, Ali Hamieh, discussed regional developmental issues with MP Jamal Aboud in his office at the ministry, particularly focusing on road maintenance in Tripoli. During the meeting, Hamieh confirmed that "the Ministry of Public Works and Transport has directed the relevant teams to conduct inspections of the main roads, including those in Tripoli, after which files will be prepared in accordance with the available budget allocations."
Hamieh then met with MPs Walid Baalbaki and Ahmad Rostom, along with a delegation from the Federations of Municipalities of Western and Central Dreib, where they discussed regional developmental issues relevant to the ministry, especially the road maintenance file within the federations of municipalities in Western and Central Dreib in Akkar. He emphasized that "the assigned teams are conducting inspections of the province's roads, and files will be prepared accordingly based on the available allocations at the ministry."
