Maersk announced today, Tuesday, that its ship Maersk Centosa reported being targeted by a flying object in the far northern Gulf of Aden in the early hours of the morning. A spokesperson for the Danish shipping group stated that it remains unclear whether the ship itself reported an explosion near it about 180 nautical miles (333 kilometers) east of Yemen's Ash Shahr port today. The Maersk Centosa flies the flag of the United States.
