The shipping company "Tribeca" indicated that "traffic in the Turkish Bosphorus Strait is scheduled to resume for northbound vessels by 14:40 GMT." The company reported that "traffic stopped in the Bosphorus Strait today, Wednesday, after a tugboat malfunctioned while towing a ship at the northern entrance of the strait, which passes through Istanbul." It noted that two other tugboats were sent to assist in resolving the issue.
