The press secretary of the U.S. Department of Defense (the Pentagon), General Patrick Ryder, indicated that U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin discussed with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant the ongoing attacks on Israel by Hezbollah. He clarified that the two ministers also discussed opportunities to enhance U.S.-Israeli military cooperation in response to a range of regional security threats.
