British Princess Kate, the Princess of Wales currently undergoing preventive chemotherapy for cancer, sent a message to an army regiment apologizing for her absence from a military parade today, Saturday, adding that she hopes to return very soon. In her message to the commander of the Irish Guards, Kate wrote, "It is a great honor to be your (honorary) colonel, and I express my sincere apologies for not being able to take the salute at this year's parade." She added in the message dated June 3, which was shared by the Irish Guards on the platform "X" on Saturday, "Please send my apologies to the entire regiment, but I hope to represent you all again very soon." British Prince William, the heir to the throne, mentioned last month that his wife Kate is "in good spirits." Kate stated in March that she is receiving treatment after discovering she has cancer following abdominal surgery earlier this year.
