Reports today, Monday, indicate that "a number of inmates set fire to a floor in the sentenced building of Roumieh Prison, before a force from the riot control intervened and took control of the situation." It was stated that "a rebellion occurred in the prison, and inmates took some security personnel hostage." The fire has currently been controlled.
