Two Killed by Israeli Forces West of Jenin... Raids in the West Bank

Two Palestinians were killed, and two others were injured early Saturday morning by Israeli forces near the Salem military checkpoint west of Jenin. Security sources confirmed to the Palestinian News Agency "WAFA" the deaths of two young men: Mustafa Sultan Abed (22 years old) from Kafr Dan village and Ahmad Muhammad Shawahna (21 years old) from Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin. It was noted that Israeli forces fired upon a group of young men in the vicinity of the Salem checkpoint, near the Rummana intersection west of the city, resulting in the death of Abed and Shawahna and the injury of two other young men.

The national and Islamic forces mourned Shawahna and Abed using loudspeakers in mosques in the towns of Silat al-Harithiya and Kafr Dan. The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that its crews transported the two young men (25 years and 22 years old) injured near the Salem checkpoint to a hospital in Jenin, describing their injuries as moderate.

Additionally, "WAFA" reported that Israeli forces raided Tulkarm city early Saturday and arrested a young man. Local sources stated that seven Israeli military vehicles entered the city, positioned near the Peace Roundabout, then moved through several neighborhoods, deploying foot patrols and raiding a commercial store. Sources indicated that Israeli forces arrested Ashraf Dhiab after assaulting him severely, raiding and searching his home, and tampering with its contents in the city.

Israeli forces also invaded the town of Aqraba south of Nablus early this morning. Local sources reported that Israeli forces entered the town with several vehicles and patrolled its streets and neighborhoods, as Israeli soldiers raided one of the homes, with no arrests reported. It is noteworthy that Aqraba is continually subjected to settler attacks under the protection of the Israeli army. Moreover, Israeli forces raided the towns of Hajja and Kafr Qaddum east of Qalqilya early this morning.
