Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing today, Friday. The two sides reviewed Saudi-Chinese relations and ways to enhance them across various fields, as well as discussed intensifying bilateral and multilateral coordination on numerous issues of mutual concern. They also addressed current developments in regional and international arenas. For its part, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the ministers exchanged views on several topics, including the Ukrainian crisis. The two ministers agreed that holding a peace conference on Ukraine should involve equal participation from all parties and encompass a fair discussion of various proposals. According to a statement, the Chinese Foreign Minister said, "Beijing will continue to promote peace talks and play a constructive role in encouraging a political solution to the Ukrainian crisis." Additionally, bin Farhan met with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein.
